Today we saw something wonderful. Our daughters face.
Here are a few of her first pictures.
I hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

Maternity Clothes

So I know most women dread the day they have to go out and buy maternity clothes because that means they are getting "fat." Well I'm not that kind of girl. I have finally reached the stage that I need to go shopping and I'm so excited about it. Mia is growing every day and I see it in my growing belly. We are more than half way to the goal and time is really starting to fly.

1/2 Way There

We have made it to 20 weeks. Yay! On Tuesday we went back to the doctor to see Dr. Greenburg and to have Mia's 20 week ultrasound. I am very happy to report she is still a girl! She weighs in at a healthy 11 ounces and is 7 inches long. While Carol was doing the ultrasound she flipped on the 3D function for a minute so that we could see what Mia looks like right now. It was amazing. I could actually see her tiny face. I know that I am biased as she is my daughter but she is beautiful.

We will have a 3D/4D ultrasound on August 29th. We get a CD with 70-100 pictures on it so I'll be posting a few of those after we have them. I am so excited to watch her (and my belly) grow little by little. I feel so blessed to have the baby girl on the way and each day I grow more anxious to meet her.

Mia's Room: The Beginning

This post is mostly pictures. I thought you may like to see the progression of the nursery. On Saturday my mom and dad picked up the dresser/changer, toy box, crib, and bookshelf from JC Penny's. Some of the pieces are on back order but we should have them by early September. All of the furniture had to be put together so we got started around noon. It was a days work for sure. I'm glad my dad is so handy at reading those directions! He figured them out then told me and mom what screw went where and what pieces went together. I think they finally left my house around 5pm and dead tired. I am so thankful for all of their help in getting their granddaughters room ready for her arrival. I'll keep updating as her room progresses.
