Hope I didn't scare anyone with the title to this blog post. We are still only having 1 little girl! I just wanted to share a cute story from last night with you. My dad, mom and I went to the see the Tampa Bay Rays play ball with a group of people from church. Being the kind parents they are they were going to park in the stadium parking lot so we didn't have to walk 10 miles to get there. I was thankful for that as I feel like I am starting to walk with a little bit of the pregnant waddle every woman dreads. Stadium parking is $10 if you have less than 4 people in your car. 4 people or more and it's free. Mom made a joke on the way over that we should ask if Mia could count as our 4th person. When we pulled up to the gate my dad asked the attendant if an unborn child could count as a 4th person. The guy looked back in the back seat at me to see if I was really pregnant and said sure we'll give it to you this time! I'm glad I was showing or the guy may have thought dad was telling him a tall tale. So thanks to my precious baby for saving us some money on parking! By the way the Rays won 11-1. GO RAYS!

24 Weeks and Counting
It was not long ago that I was impressed that I was 16 weeks pregnant. Now I look at the calendar and I'm impressed that I only have 16 weeks left before our precious gift is due to arrive. I am amazed daily at her growth that I can see and the new things that she does. I am so thankful she is ours to love and take care of.
I went to see Dr Greenburg today. I had my glucose screening done. Can you say yuck! It does taste like flat orange soda but it also burned all the way down and for about 10 minutes after I was done drinking it. They should have the results back tomorrow. They will call if my levels were too high. No news is good news. I don't expect to have any issues but you can never tell.
We are getting down to crunch time for Mia's room. I promised myself I would have all I was going to do done by October. I want to have it completed early so we don't have to focus on it last minute. My mom bought us some of the wall decals we are going to use as a border for her room. I can't wait to get started putting them up. (I promise again not to climb on anything mom.) That's about all that's happening for us right now.

Maternity Clothes
So I know most women dread the day they have to go out and buy maternity clothes because that means they are getting "fat." Well I'm not that kind of girl. I have finally reached the stage that I need to go shopping and I'm so excited about it. Mia is growing every day and I see it in my growing belly. We are more than half way to the goal and time is really starting to fly.

1/2 Way There
We have made it to 20 weeks. Yay! On Tuesday we went back to the doctor to see Dr. Greenburg and to have Mia's 20 week ultrasound. I am very happy to report she is still a girl! She weighs in at a healthy 11 ounces and is 7 inches long. While Carol was doing the ultrasound she flipped on the 3D function for a minute so that we could see what Mia looks like right now. It was amazing. I could actually see her tiny face. I know that I am biased as she is my daughter but she is beautiful.
We will have a 3D/4D ultrasound on August 29th. We get a CD with 70-100 pictures on it so I'll be posting a few of those after we have them. I am so excited to watch her (and my belly) grow little by little. I feel so blessed to have the baby girl on the way and each day I grow more anxious to meet her.

Mia's Room: The Beginning
This post is mostly pictures. I thought you may like to see the progression of the nursery. On Saturday my mom and dad picked up the dresser/changer, toy box, crib, and bookshelf from JC Penny's. Some of the pieces are on back order but we should have them by early September. All of the furniture had to be put together so we got started around noon. It was a days work for sure. I'm glad my dad is so handy at reading those directions! He figured them out then told me and mom what screw went where and what pieces went together. I think they finally left my house around 5pm and dead tired. I am so thankful for all of their help in getting their granddaughters room ready for her arrival. I'll keep updating as her room progresses.
